We are a UL listed company that specializes in UL Alarm Certificate Services. The UL is the organization that determines whether or not an alarm company meets specific requirements regarding the quality of the equipment they provide. They evaluate wire quality, installation techniques, inspections, monitoring, and other services.

Only UL listed alarm companies are authorized to provide UL certificated burglar alarm services. UL certificated burglar alarm services adhere to UL 827, UL 681, the Standard for Central Station Alarm Services, and the Standard for Installation and Classification of Burglar and Holdup Alarm Systems. Businesses that meet their standards of excellence are listed in their online certifications directory. 

Compliance

As part of the Certificate Services Program, companies are required to maintain compliance. To ensure this, UL’s field personnel conduct random audits of representative alarm installations. If an alarm installation is found to be noncompliant at any time, the UL certificate is canceled and the alarm service company is responsible for all necessary corrections.

A new certificate is issued to reflect all reflective actions. Interested code authorities will also immediately be notified of any certificate cancellations.

The UL Certificate proves that an alarm system has been installed properly and that it will be maintained, tested, and monitored in accordance with the latest codes and standards. These include compliance with UL 827, UL 681, UL 2050, and NFPA 72.
